App support kills off 38 percent of IT budget for top firms

Application support and maintenance is now costing 38 percent of the IT budgets of the Global 2000 companies—an increase of 29 percent, according to a new study. MGMA presses HHS for end-to-end ICD-10 testing

The Medical Group Management Association (MGMA) is urging the U.S. Department of Health & Human Services to conduct full end-to-end testing of ICD-10 to prevent cash-flow problems for physician practices.
