Responsibilities
Successful candidates possess a high degree of expertise as business or technical business analysts and provide analytical services to a wide variety of healthcare related organizations with a proven track record in the following areas:
- Provides hands-on expertise for implementation, configuration and on-going support of software applications to include analysis, system configuration, operational implementation, process documentation and testing for managed care clients
- Develop and recommend operational processes and/or process improvements
- Define and analyze business goals, objectives, needs, processes and requirements for governmental and production-related system changes
- Recommend system modifications enhancements, new system development and/or business process change
Requirements
- Proven configuration skills in one or more of the following functional areas: enrollment, claims, provider, member, benefits, billing, accounts receivable, premium billing, utilization management
- Knowledge of supporting data structures and the ability to query tables
- Knowledge of implementation lifecycle
- Experience creating requirements and defining business rules
- Strong analytical skills
- Excellent communication, presentation and written skills
- Extensive travel may be required
Responsibilities
Successful candidates for this position possess a high degree of expertise in the configuration of business rules that support organizational policies and methodologies.
- Works with Project Manager to define and prioritize projects.
- Considers interdepartmental impact when recommending solutions and identifies opportunities for interdepartmental utilization of recommended solutions.
- Works with peers in department to develop realistic project scope estimates, detailed project plans, and timelines.
- Analyzes business requirements and objectives towards determining the optimal configuration of the requirements.
- Configures, tests and documents configuration solutions
- Exercises good judgment in the use of configuration standards. Can propose business beneficial changes to coding standards and development procedures.
- Adheres to existing configuration management procedures. Recommends improvements to existing procedures. Assesses work of team members to ensure compliance with procedures.
- Creates complex design documents through the assessment of requirements. Assesses alternatives to different designs and chooses best solution to fit business needs.
- Performs complex data modeling and database design with minimal oversight.
- Adheres to departmental and corporate policies and procedures.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in business administration, information science, computer science, industrial engineering or a relevant area, or equivalent technical skills and experience.
- A minimum of five years of configuration experience
- Possess problem solving and project management skills. Must be able to take charge, manage numerous projects and successfully coordinate projects with internal areas and external vendors.
- Project team member oversight management and/or supervisory experience required.
- Experience using a software development life-cycle methodology like the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC).
- Broad operational managed care background.
- Specific Technical Skills Required:
- Familiarity with data structures and data types.
- Ability to work with integrated data using a relational database management system or SQL.
- Excellent analytical and organization skills.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Excellent interpersonal skills, including the ability to work with all levels of personnel.
- Extensive travel may be required

Successful candidates provide project management to a wide variety of healthcare related organizations with a proven track record in the following areas:
Program / Project Management
- Creates and executes project work plans and revises as appropriate to meet changing needs and requirements.
- Identifies resources needed and assigns individual responsibilities.
- Manages day-to-day operational aspects of a project and scope.
- Reviews deliverables prepared by team before passing to client.
- Effectively applies our methodology and enforces project standards.
- Prepares for engagement reviews and quality assurance procedures.
- Minimizes our exposure and risk on project by proactive management of issues and risks for the program / project.
- Ensures project documents are complete, current, and filed appropriately with the client and in our project archives.
- Creates effective executive level presentations on program / project status.
Requirements
- At least a Bachelor's degree
- A minimum of five (5) years of Project Management experience, with demonstrated project success and reference-able experience with program / project management.
- Project Management Professional certification preferred
- Excellent presentation and organization skills
- MS Office projects including Project, Visio, Word, Excel, Access, PowerPoint
- Extensive travel may be required
Responsibilities
Successful candidates possess a high degree of technical analytical expertise and provide analytical services to a wide variety of healthcare related organizations with a proven track record in the following areas:
- Manage resolution of technical issues for clients
- Provide technical and development support for production issues
- Troubleshoot software application issues as they relate to system functionality, application server setup, database management and data analysis
- Collaborate extensively with peers, Business Analysts, Operations staff and Project Managers to resolve client issues
Requirements
- Extensive experience with SQL Server and Visual Basic
- 3-5 years experience in engineering, engineering support or technical support environment or equivalent consulting experience
- Excellent communication and written skills
- Ability to manage multiple priorities, commitments and projects
- Extensive travel may be required
